You chose the ludicrous notion of writing your debut novel. Writing a book is a long arduous process, like running a marathon, which keeps moving the finish line every time you see the home stretch. The results of success can be so miniscule you may need a magnifying glass to see the results. Your precious writing, direct from your soul, is all too often scrutinized. There’s no shortcut to doing this. Every step needs to be done well and professionally to fool the most critical of readers, for your writings are no longer private.
So as the final curtain is about to fall on the series, A Song of the Swan, I am left with mixed feelings. I am overjoyed by the way it turned out, exceeding much more than my expectations. Many people have commented on how much they have loved the series and how deep are the characters. The story line evolves from a drama about a 16-year-old runaway, who takes on life alone with her dog Piglet. Then, as the story progresses, it’s clear there is so much more going on.

The Song of the Swan Series is a project of stories which will focus on the family of the Levenworths and will span multiple generations of over 100 years. There will be terrifying evil from multiple groups and corporations wanting no less than world domination. To avoid this, it will be necessary to harness the lessons learned from previous generations and to take up mystic powers of protections necessary to end the tyranny which threatens all. But will it be enough, for there are also great powers of darkness used to suppress and to bring to the knees those that would dare to challenge them.
The heroics of a select few will be needed to set the world free from them who seek to destroy it. Forces from beyond the grave will be disturbed and secrets long thought were buried will reveal themselves to fulfill prophecies of both light and darkness. Then will come the final day of reconning when the rightful champion will make a worthy sacrifice for all.
